My name is Ilaria Facci, I’ve been making photos for the last 10 years. I’ve been living in a different part of the world: Buenos Aires, Armenia, Milano and Rome (Italy), and Spain. I’m now living in London. Almost all of my pictures are self-portraits. With my camera, I try to express my experience of my lost left eye because of Cancer: the “Retinoblastoma”. All of my work talks about the beauty in the dark of life. I’m cured from cancer now, but through my art, I share my story to support every person who is now fighting my disease.
