Luca Marella is a travel and documentary photographer from Venice, Italy. The most spectacular thing about his portfolio is his passion to travel beyond and do some amazing photographs outside his comfort zone. Luca believes his way of photographing is more about conveying certain kind of significance to the characters portrayed and the environment within. This portfolio shows us that he is an ardent traveler very hungry and passionate to capture the quest of perfection in photography.
Biography
Luca Marella, born in Venice, Italy where I currently live.
I have always been intrigued and fascinated by the power of images, which I regard and envisage as a means for narrative expression. I like my photos to capture my personal experience and take the form of a visual account where images are not just mere images and can convey significance.
Most of my photographs were taken with a Voigtlander Bessa film camera.
