Play of Hands is a personal project that I took up during the lockdown. I tried to document ‘Hands’ in different forms, mainly playing with light and shadow and colours. The time I spent experimenting and photographing hands made me realize how changing the spaces between fingers can bring about different emotions.

About Alipriya Ghosh

Born and based in Kolkata, Alipriya Ghosh is a student of Computer Science and Engineering and an avid photographer. In the summer of 2011, while she was still in school, Alipriya started taking photographs with the 2 MP camera of her new mobile phone and it has been nine years since. She mainly works with Streets and Landscape but often experiments with Architecture, Minimal and Product Photography. Street Portraits remains one of her favorite genres. The fact that she photographs a person she might never meet again intrigues her.

Her works have been published in NatGeo Traveller India, Times of India, 121clicks, Chiiz, Outdoor Photography(UK), Landscape Photography(UK), Saevus, Inspiro India Magazine and more.
