This year when I planned to go to cover the Kumbh Mela fair, Allahabad, the things came to my mind are Monks, Shahi Snan, Pilgrims and their lives. But when I reached there I just got astonished to see the vastness of the fair. So many activities, so many types of people and their culture.
The whole Kumbh Mela ground is segregated by different sectors full of temporary Akhras and tents. Generally, we roam around the Mela ground throughout the days and which mesmerized most is the paintings/wall art in the different temples, pillars, lanes surrounded the Mela ground even in the main city and I decided to cover the essence of the fair with these paintings.
