I have always wanted to travel to Rajasthan. When I was in school I got to introduced with the world of Satyajit Ray and after reading the book ”Sonar Kella”. I got much intrigued with Rajasthan, in particular the golden city Jaisalmer.
So I took a solo trip in 2018 to India and went to Jaisalmer. I was always fascinated by the vibrant culture, the legends and stories. And it was even more amazing to experience these in person. The incredible golden architectures, colors, sand dunes, the famous Gadisar lake… this small city in the middle of the Thar desert has so much to offer. But what made the experience real and unique for me is its people. They are very friendly, proud of their culture and heritage. I wanted to capture their daily lives and all the simple moments which reflect the Rajasthani culture.
