Kumari Puja is an intesting as well as an integral part of Durga Puja .A little girl Dipwannita Adhikary of 10 years is seen getting worshiped by the Hindu devotees during the Kumari Puja Ritual. Kumari Puja is an Indian Hindu Tradition mainly celebrated during the Durga Puja according to the Hindu calendar. Kumari actually describes a young virgin girl from the age of 1 to 12 who are getting worshipped during the transition of Ashtami / Navami tithi of Durga Puja/Navratri according to Hindu mythology.
It is believed that Kumari Puja grants many blessings to the worshippers as well as the little girl too. Devotees believe it will overcome all barriers, dangers for the will overcome all barriers, dangers for the little girls in coming future and also, she will be empowered to handle any stress and obstruction in her coming life. The Hindu Scriptures mention that a small unmarried girl aged between one to sixteen years who is calm and has the purity of the goddess and who is devoted of any emotion of anger, desire or materialistic greed can be the kumari for Kumari Puja.
Kumari Puja was also conducted at many other community pandels and traditional households across the state where Durga Puja is organized. According to religious belief, after the Puja, the divinity to the Goddess descends into the Kumari.

I’ve always had a passion for photography since childhood. My first handy camera was from my own pocket money in class 11. During that time. I used a click random picture. I bought my first DSLR in the year 2016 and from then on started to seriously chase my passion. Photography is like therapy to me.
I have thankful to have met Avishek Das (Photo Journalist), a friend, mentor who has guided me in this photography field. He has taught me not only how to click Photo but also how to utilize them.
