My name is Dragoslav Seculici, I work and live in Timisoara/Romania. My beginnings in photography go back to my mid-school years when I learned how to use a film camera and also develop film and photos in the school lab.
Later on, I started shooting digital and at some point, in 2015, thanks to two fellow street photographers I came across the works of Martin Parr, H.C. Bresson, Alex Webb, and many others and became very interested in “framing” those unique and transitory instants which public places offer… if you walk and watch long enough and patiently enough for the unexpected to happen. As years have gone by, for me taking candid photos in various places is not just a photographic genre or approach but it looks very much like a chess game in which one has to think fast, anticipate and know exactly when to take the decisive move.
