I am Kevin Icabales, born in Manila, Philippines. I am a Filipino street photographer. My photography journey began after I graduated from college. My aunt bought me a graduation gift which was a DSLR camera. I started shooting portraits and eventually took a chance to have my first wedding shoot. My passion for shooting candids during weddings gave me a window to shoot concerts as well. Afterward, this passion for shooting journalistic moments led me to street photography. Until then, I knew where I was called to do.
I am using a Fujifilm camera for my street photos. I love shooting street photography because it continuously helps me develop my patience, discipline, and integrity. And in this genre, I’ve met people that also inspires me to continue learning. one of the best things that I am thankful for is when people having an emotional connection with my works. They inspire me to continue to learn more and to also give back to them by means of reflecting their own stories through my photos.
