Light cannot be kept outside the equation when speaking about pure photography. Obviously Photography as we all know is about capturing light. Having said that, every art form is bound to get ruled or separated by genre norms, with due respect to all categories, light enhances the very essence of producing some exquisite stuff.
Adding glory to the beauty of all that comes its way, light makes it a must have ingredient when it comes to true photography. First let me say that I think this is a wonderful assortment of B/W images. Thank you for posting them! B/W is a wonderful medium. These images are very refreshing.
I am a member of a Yahoo Group that focuses on the monthly exchange of B/W prints. It’s been in existence for about 12 years now. If you are interested in exchanging prints (limited to 12 per month), we would love to have you join us. There is no membership fee, however each photographer must bear the expense of printing h/her prints, and for postage. We are US based but do have International participants.
