Personal Best: Debarshi Das

He was born in a small and beautiful town of Siliguri in the North of Bengal and brought up in various parts of West Bengal. He completed my undergrad degree from Calcutta and started his career as a software professional in 2010. Currently, he is employed as a Senior Business Consultant in one of the largest Japanese MNCs, NTT Data Inc., and put up in Bengaluru.

Travelling has always been his foremost inclination from a very young age. Deeply motivated by works of Paul Nicklen and Keith Ladzinskihe decided to travel to the Arctic region during 2017-2018. And his solo travel to Greenland for a fortnight has opened his eyes regarding Rapid Climate Change and Vanishing of Icebergs.

  • One photograph was in TOP 35 across the globe in the prestigious 35awards, Moscow.

  • Winner of Fotorbit and Beyond Vision in 2019 in Travel Category.
  • 3 of his photographs have been published by the National Geographic Your Shot community.
  • Two of his photographs got published in October 2018 and July 2019 issues of Smart Photography Magazine.
  • Tripoto the world’s largest traveler community has published his interview.
  • Indian Photo Arts an online prestigious magazine has published his story on climate change in the Arctic Region.
  • One of his photographs has been published in Better Photography as a runner up of a competition.
  • Chiiz has published his profile and photographs twice with one as the winner of astrophotography competition.
  • Landscape photography Magazine (LPM) has published 3 photographs on their websites and 1 photograph in the upcoming issue of the magazine.
