The 2025 World Sports Photography Awards once again celebrated the extraordinary talent of professional sports photographers from around the globe, showcasing their ability to capture the drama, emotion, and artistry of athletic competition. This year’s competition reached new heights, with over 13,000 images submitted by more than 2,200 photographers, reflecting the growing prestige and demand for such recognition in the sports photography industry.
The contest featured 24 distinct categories, each highlighting a different sports genre, ranging from Aquatic and Winter Sports to Motor Sports and beyond. Topping the accolades were the overall contest winners, whose breathtaking work stood out among the fierce competition. Jerome Brouillet claimed the Gold award for his captivating image "Golden Moment," which masterfully captured a serene yet powerful scene in the Aquatic category. The Silver award went to Petr Slavik for his evocative photograph in the Winter Sports category, a testament to his skill in portraying the intense beauty of cold-weather competition. Bronze was awarded to Anton Anestiev for his dynamic and thrilling capture in the Motor Sports category, encapsulating the speed and adrenaline of the race.
