“The vivo VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards 2023 is a celebration of the exquisite photography captured by users using their powerful mobile devices. From its humble beginnings in 2020, the contest has experienced remarkable growth, with this year boasting over 210,000 submissions from more than 80,000 photographers across 40 countries and regions.
The 2023 winners embody the pinnacle of creative expression, showcasing the diverse talents of artists from various backgrounds. In collaboration with our global imaging partner, ZEISS, this year’s competition joyfully embraces the theme of the “Joy of Humanity.”
Initiatives like the VISION+ Mobile PhotoAwards and similar photo contests play a pivotal role in encouraging young and emerging photographers to share their perspectives. Such competitions foster a sense of community and connection among photographers worldwide, offering a valuable platform for individuals to explore diverse social issues, cultural events, and environmental changes.
Within the competition’s six categories, the first, second, and third-place winners exemplify the overarching theme. Notably, Jiehan Herry Saputro’s captivating photo, featured above, has been crowned the “Best Photograph of the Year,” standing out among the exceptional entries.”
