The fifth annual ViewSonic ColorPro Awards celebrated the brilliance of visual artistry, unveiling its 2024 winners with the theme "Momentum." This global competition attracted nearly 10,500 entries from over 100 countries, highlighting exceptional creativity across photography and other visual arts.
Chilean photographer Benjamin Yavar claimed first place in the photography category with his stunning work titled Wormhole, which captivated judges with its imaginative interpretation of the theme. The awards continue to showcase the extraordinary talent of artists worldwide, reinforcing ViewSonic’s commitment to fostering creativity and celebrating the power of visual storytelling.

#1. 1st Place: "Wormhole" by Benjamin Yavar, Chile

"The big fish chased the small fish and rushed out of the water together, passing the egret. The egret looked surprised and did not know where the small fish would go under the laws of nature? Just like a poem: I pass by you, you come in a hurry, and before I realize it, you have gone far away, leaving me with a regretful back."

"This was taken outside of my home in Kanab, Utah. I was working on the computer when I got a notification on my phone that a large storm was approaching. Not wanting to miss this opportunity, I RAN out of the house with my camera in tow. I drove a few miles out of town and saw this ominous storm approaching. I plunked down my camera and watched as this storm barreled towards me."
