What first drew you to photography and how did you discover it?

Last few years ago a camera was bought in order to take photos of my family. Gradually I met with some photographers through social media. No sooner had I viewed their photos of different shades, I was inspired by their creation. Until I found the work of Steve McCurry. His works impressed me with the composition and the moment. Gradually I started to walk into the plant of photography. I think I walk into this arena eventually it has turned into my passion with great emotion which will be added a new dimension in photography.

What do you think about street photography in Bangladesh?

Street photography is not very popular in Bangladesh to speak in truth, most of the photographers here live in lifestyle & documentary photography and many of them are award-winning photographers in the world prestigious exhibition/contest as like Worldpress, Hipa, IPA etc.

We also have talented street photographers like Md. Enamul Kabir & Dr. Muhammad Imam Hasan, their role in the development of street photography in Bangladesh is immense. Day by day many young talented photographers are joining this sector and all are doing good. We have a street group named ‘Street Photo Bangladesh Magazine’ they are also working hard for stabilizing in street photography in our country. Bangladesh is full of really enthusiastic people and there are a lot of things happening all around, lots of activities. And this creates many opportunities for street photographers. I am very hopeful that soon our country’s street photographers will brighten the name of Bangladesh all over the world.
