There is a famous quote by Cathrine Jones –” Whether your pregnancy was meticulously planned, medically coaxed, or happened by surprise, one thing is certain – your life will never be the same.”
And what else we can say about this. I met her in my college days during early 2005. Me and my wife had a 7-year-old courtship period before we got married 3 years back. We had so many ups and downs. sometimes it was like spring and sometimes it was like a tsunami onslaught in our relationship. Last year she got pregnant with her first baby and after 9 months she delivered a baby girl. We apparently found peace and happiness again. This is a wonderful feeling for a woman to slowly experience the changes in her body and mind. But this doesn’t get always restricted to herself only. It’s a journey of the entire family and the surroundings as well. We have experienced different phases. Sometimes it was so pleasant and the next moment it may be an upside down story. She had always a fear of not able to bear the child throughout this whole period but eventually she had hold the fort successfully for the 9 months and I must say it is the family who stood by her and vice versa.
So this photo story I have tried to capture the difficulties and happiness of her most important 9 months. It is not only a story of her but this might be the story of every other woman out there in the world who eventually metamorphose to become a mother over a period of 9 full moon. This is a tribute to the eternally undying spirit of the motherhood of each and every mother including mother earth.
And everyone’s eyebrows starts rising…
They say you need to have dreams to make it possible . So she started making her own…
It seems, gone are those days when every other collection has to be in her wardrobe, nothing seems to fit any more…
But she still wants to embrace her days as beautifully as possible, she starts gearing up…
And the first glimpse…
Just being curious…
Still a thousand miles to walk…
But it is not always a bed of roses…
Life goes on…
It’s not the responsibility of one but many…
Family, was always there…
We indeed keep the most precious thing in a safe
We can see the moon rising in the horizon…
Finally she is about to enter the stage for the final act
And everyone was fighting, inside and outside
Bliss…

I have started building interest for photography in my early days of school life. It all started with a blurry idea of a photograph being beautiful which has an object in center with a sharp focus and a blurry background. After that so many days has passed. I have slowly learned the tricks and techniques. I have a strong inclination towards people and nature. As far as the photography is concern I am a firm believer of Black and White photography. I believe we are seeing the universe around us in color and undoubtedly it is beautiful. But it is the black and white which talks to your heart. We are all taking away resources from the society everyday, now it is the high time we give some thing back even if it is as small as making someone smile in a different part of the globe. It counts!
