Hello, I’m Riya Das, I’m a beginner photographer. I’ve started photography in 2018. I’m a learner. I love to take street moments and candids but in this quarantine, we aren’t able to go outside so I’m learning to self photograph my emotions and expressions. I got inspired by my father because he even clicked images and everyone in my family even use to love his photographs.
This series is based on mental illness which is happening in these quarantine days. People feel lonely and feel suffocated for staying at home since the past 4 months. People who couldn’t actually return to their home they are actually feeling worse due to the lockdown situation. People cannot earn money, lots of issues are now heightened. People are getting depressed and isolated because of this ongoing situation due to COVID-19. A few days ago I was hit with anxiety for a while and I came out from it. Then I thought as all cannot show their feelings. So I tried to connect them with my set of photographs.
