Since then, Lorbada has embraced the harsh winter conditions, venturing into the park during blizzards and sub-zero temperatures to uncover its hidden perspectives.

Over the years, Lorbada has transformed his exploration of Sierra de Guadarrama into a pilgrimage, returning time and again to document its ever-changing winter landscape. Whether on backcountry skis, with crampons, or trudging through knee-deep snow, he seeks out the park’s lesser-known spots, capturing scenes that evoke both the starkness and tranquility of winter.
