Francesc Català-Roca (1922 – 1998) was a Spanish photographer born in Barcelona. His father Pere Català Pic is a Spanish photographer and writer. He worked as a photo reporter in magazines such as Destino and La Vanguardia. His first individual photography exhibition happened in 1953. Francesc, also interested in cinema, In 1952 he made the documentary about the Holy Family Piedras Vivas, which was awarded that same year with the first prize of the Festival of Ancona (Italy).
