“Hello, I’m Marta, an Italian girl currently residing in Paris. Photography captured my heart a few years ago and swiftly evolved into my greatest passion. Fortunately, it’s not just a hobby but also my profession now. When I’m not behind the lens, I enjoy indulging in my love for reading, writing, spending time with friends, and immersing myself in music. My mind thrives on conjuring up new stories, a source of endless inspiration for me.”

“Much of my work happens in the prelude to a photo shoot—meticulously developing ideas and contemplating every detail. While I often prepare a mood board, there are occasions when it exists solely in my mind. Consequently, the actual shoot is a swift and concise process. I engage in brief conversations with the models, weaving imaginative stories to immerse them in the desired atmosphere. Post-production is where the magic happens; I fine-tune colors, adjust saturation, and enhance contrast to bring the envisioned vision to life.”

“The pivotal element in a portrait, for me, is emotion. It doesn’t necessarily have to be genuine; it just needs to exist, resonating with the viewers. Equally crucial are the stories—whether they are figments of imagination or rooted in reality.
Inspiration, for me, is drawn from myriad sources. Nature, with its enchanting light and street details, holds a special place in my creative process. I find inspiration in the diverse melodies of music, the narratives spun in books and movies, and, undoubtedly, in the works of fellow artists, not limiting myself to photographers alone.”
