The 2024 International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards have revealed outstanding winners, celebrating the pinnacle of creativity and artistry in wedding photography. Now in its eighth edition, the competition attracted over 2,000 entries from 450 photographers across 63 countries, highlighting the global diversity and innovation within this demanding genre.
The awards aim to support, reward, and promote exceptional talent, showcasing breathtaking moments of love and emotion. This year’s grand prize went to Bettina Vass, whose work epitomizes the artistic and technical mastery the awards are renowned for. The winning and highly commended images reflect the dedication and skill that define world-class wedding photography.

"As a photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing some of the most unique and breathtaking moments in people’s lives. But when Mauli and Christian reached out to me with their idea of getting married on top of a glacier in Iceland, I knew this was going to be something truly special. The Katla Ice cave, nestled in the stunning surroundings of Vik on the south coast of Iceland, is a place like no other. Named after the volcano beneath the Kötlujökull glacier, this ice cave is a sight to behold. To reach it, you must embark on a hike and descent led by a trained glacier guide."
