75-year-old artist Richard Saunders creates edits of bushes in honor of his deceased cat. Richard creates surreal photos that are digitally manipulated by replacing plants in real places with bushes shaped like cats. He has created hundreds of photos for this project named, “The Topiary Cat”.
In an interview with Bored Panda, Richard revealed that he started this project for fun when his cat was still alive and he didn’t want to continue the project after Tolly’s (his cat’s) death. But his 40K followers on Facebook urged him to carry on. Richard believes that it helps people to cope with the death of their own pets. Here are some amazing photos from his Facebook Page.
