Elliott Erwitt is a Documentary Photographer ad Photo Journalist from Paris. He was born on July 26, 1928. His interest in photography began while he was a teenager living in Hollywood. Elliott Erwitt joined Magnum Photos in 1953. He loves Dogs and Children. He has had solo exhibitions in numerous museums and galleries around the world.

Erwitt’s quote is applicable to all art forms. Even if the end purdoct is one of complete abstraction, observation is at the core of all creative endeavours. I think finely tuned observation skills are the mark of a true artist. You should read/look through How to Use Your Eyes by James Elkins (I own it). Great book on ordinary and extraordinary observations.
