The 2025 International Photography Awards (IPA) has once again set a new benchmark in the world of visual storytelling. Celebrating creativity, technical mastery, and compelling narratives, the competition brings together professional and non-professional photographers from across the globe. This year, the spotlight shines on 20 remarkable award-winning photos, each reflecting the diversity and artistry that the IPA is renowned for.

Spanning 11 categories—including advertising, analog, architecture, book, editorial, event, and fine art—the winning images explore a wide range of perspectives and styles. From meticulously crafted architectural compositions to raw and emotional editorial works, each photo offers a glimpse into the boundless imagination of its creator. These photographs not only showcase technical excellence but also highlight the ability of photography to transcend boundaries and evoke universal emotions.
A prestigious panel of judges, composed of gallerists, photo editors, art directors, collectors, and photography luminaries, carefully reviewed submissions from around the world. Their selections emphasize both innovation and storytelling, rewarding photographers who push the medium forward while staying rooted in its artistic essence. Each category winner receives not only a cash prize and travel support, but also the invaluable opportunity for international exposure through exhibitions, screenings, and publications.
The anticipation continues to build as the IPA prepares to reveal its two grand prize winners: International Photographer of the Year (Professional) and Discovery of the Year (Non-Professional). These prestigious titles will be announced on October 5 at the Benaki Museum in Athens, a fitting venue for a celebration of global artistry.
Through these 20 award-winning photographs, the International Photography Awards 2025 reaffirms its role as one of the most influential platforms for contemporary photography, honoring talent, passion, and the power of the visual image.
