Denis Cherim’s The Coincidence Project is a mesmerizing collection of perfectly timed photographs that reveal the hidden harmony of everyday life. Through his keen eye for detail, Cherim captures fleeting moments where urban and natural elements align in almost surreal ways—whether it’s a streetlight merging seamlessly with the sun or a cloud perfectly framed by surrounding architecture.
His work transforms ordinary scenes into magical compositions, highlighting the beauty of perspective and timing. By blending different landscapes, Cherim challenges viewers to slow down and appreciate the subtle, often overlooked coincidences that surround them.
A self-taught photographer from Romania, Cherim’s nomadic lifestyle has deeply influenced his artistic vision. Having lived in cities like Istanbul, Madrid, Bucharest, Sofia, London, and Berlin, he has developed a unique way of seeing the world—one that thrives on movement and change.
Recently, he left the hustle of city life for the quiet of the countryside, where he has rediscovered a new way of observing and capturing moments. This shift has only deepened his ability to notice and document life’s quiet synchronicities, making his work a testament to the power of patience, perception, and the art of being in the right place at the right time.v
