#1. 1st Place Series: Survivors of Death Row by Enayat Asadi, Iran

Survivors of Death Row. Rostam, 50 years old, showing the execution scene with gallows, by standing on the rotten foundations of an old pier on the beach. Northern Iran, April 2021. Rostam committed murder at the age of 24. He and his two accomplices entered the house of an old man and woman to steal, and choked them. He was identified because of a mole on his face and was sentenced to death.
