Here is the National Geographic 2014 Winners and Honorable Mentions. For 2014 Contest National Geographic received more than 9,200 entries from 150 countries. The overall grand prize winner “A Node Glows in the Dark,” was taken by Brian Yen in Ocean Park, Hong Kong.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive $10,000 and a trip to National Geographic headquarters in Washington, D.C., to participate in the annual National Geographic Photography Seminar in January 2015: A behind-the-scenes experience like none other.

They’re all stunning. But I was absolutely awe-struck by People Honorable Mention 7 by Roberto Fiore. I thought I was seeing a Vermeer painting come to life. Simply amazing work. Bravo, Mr. Fiore, bravo!
Wow, these pictures are awesome! I love animals and nature and these really stood out to me! My favorite is definitely the jump the the wildabeast. That one is interesting and cool!
