My name is Mayukh Mitra. I am an amateur photographer. My main interest is documentary photography. I like to click festivals, streets and candid moments of life. Now I am working as a Senior Executive in the IT Industry.
I love photography from childhood. My father was a painter but he had the interest to saw the photograph of great photographs. He has purchased some famous photographer books like Raghubir Singh’s “The Ganges”, Raghu Rai’s book “Calcutta”. Those books were inspired me. My father gifted me a National-35 film camera when my age was 17 years and that time I captured my family photos later I captured street, travel, etc.
After 10 years, I had purchased a DSLR Camera. My teacher in Photography is “GOOGLE” which provides me a lot of information about photography till now. My photos were published in National Geographic, National Geographic Your Shot,1x.com, Chiiz Magazine, World Street Photography, Tumbhi.com. Telegraph, 121clicks.com and other websites.
