I am Ahilan, a Healthcare IT Consultant working in New York. I am from Chennai, did my schooling and Engineering UG in Chennai and MBA at SPJain Mumbai.
My brother was my inspiration to take up photography, My Photography experimentation began more than a decade back when I bought my first gear – A Nikon D60 way back in 2009. Since then I have been investing a major portion of my leisure time in travel and photography. I also honed my skills further through an advanced photography course from a leading institute in Chennai in 2010.
Though I try to focus equally on all genres of photography, travel photography has always been my favorite. With changing times, I also have a good collection of iPhone shots growing along.
My photos have been featured in local Chennai photo galleries, popular Facebook pages, and a couple of websites, I would like to thank such occasions of encouragement and support from friends.
Other than photography, I spend most of my leisure time exploring local points of interest, reading books, long-distance running, and learning painting.
