Garima Agarwal is a Documentary Photographer working independently and is based in Delhi, India. The majority of her work revolves around the cultural and environmental conditions of different sections of society. Within the span of 5 years, she has traveled over 100 cities in India and Nepal. She has extensively documented the stories of people, places, and cultures for Corporate CSR Brochures, Agencies, and Magazines. As a part of the Curation Team, she has worked as Head of Operations for three editions of City Experience Festivals. She is currently working on a long term project to document the different segments of children under her umbrella project ‘Children of India’.
She is the recipient of Sahapedia Grant and rewarded as the Jury Commendation award at TOTO Funds the Arts and a Digital Presentation at Indian Photo Festival, Hyderabad. Other than a few group exhibitions, her work has published in 101 India, Man’s World Magazine, Inspiro India, Tasveer Journal, eShe Magazine, Lonely Planet India, etc.
