Vladimir Lagrange was a Russian photographer born in 1939 in Moscow. In 1959-1963 he was working in “Photokhronika TASS”. Since 1963-1989 – special photo correspondent of “Soviet Union” Magazine, in 1989-1991 – in “Native Land” Magazine, in 1991-1995 – in Moscow representative of French Agency “Sipa – Press”.

Since 1961 г. Vladimir took part in photo exhibitions and competitions, received many prizes, awards, and diplomas. In 1963 he got a gold medal in Budapest, in 1965 a bronze one in Moscow. In 2002 he was awarded by Russian Union of Reporters and Professional Photographers Guild for creative input in photography – “Golden Eye of Russia”.

In 1987 he took part in the creation of a book “One day of Soviet Union’s life”, among 100 photo reporters from all over the world, the book was published in the USA. Vladimir is a member of Journalists Society since 1964, and a member of Photo Artists Society – since 1991. His works are in private collections in Russia, Italy, Switzerland, England, Austria.
