The Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award shortlist has been unveiled by the Natural History Museum in London, and voting is currently open.
Featuring 25 captivating images, the shortlist presents a diverse array of global wildlife, spanning from traditional snapshots of breathtaking action and serene portraits to powerful depictions of the impact of pollution and human activities on animals.
While the aesthetics and storytelling techniques vary widely, a unifying factor among the finalists is the sheer excellence of each photograph.
It’s important to note that these 25 images stand independently from the competition’s overall juried winners, which were announced earlier last month. These selections complement the top 100 images chosen for this year’s contest, offering a unique perspective on the world of wildlife photography.
