We’re thrilled to unveil this year’s winners of the All About Photo Awards 2024, honoring the finest single images captured by photographers worldwide.
From every corner of the globe, visionary photographers—both seasoned and aspiring—have shared their distinctive viewpoints, vying for global acclaim as the next Photographer of the Year. Alongside prestige, winners receive $10,000 in cash prizes and the opportunity for publication in the prestigious printed magazine, “Special Edition All About Photo Awards 2024”.
Now in its 9th year, the All About Photo Awards – The Mind’s Eye has established itself as a premier platform for discovering emerging talents and lauding exceptional photographers. After careful deliberation, the esteemed panel of jurors has selected 48 winners spanning 22 countries across 3 continents.
The winning image, captured by the talented Italian photographer Roberta Vagliani, presents a compelling monochrome tableau set within the modest confines of a school in Zanzibar. Amidst the absence of conventional furnishings, a group of young girls congregates around their teacher, one casting a poignant gaze towards the lens. Through this arresting composition, simplicity and austerity converge, shedding light on the fundamental pursuit of knowledge for women: ‘The right to know’. As aptly articulated by Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world”.

“Nelson Mandela said,Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world. This image was taken in a school in Zanzibar, where there are no desks, chairs or school supplies. All these little girls own is a notebook and their memory. Knowledge is passed on to them by a single master. In every person there is the possibility to transform the world.”
