Karol Nienartowicz spent an entire month in the Peruvian Andes, embarking on a true expedition marked by its length, challenges, and demands on multiple fronts. Enduring nearly 30 days at altitudes ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 meters above sea level, he subjected his body to a thorough test in the face of harsh conditions.
Encountering the symptoms of altitude sickness, particularly in the initial stages, it took a week of acclimatization and regular consumption of coca leaf tea to restore his well-being. Throughout this period, Karol explored the most captivating mountainous regions of the country, setting up camp in the wilderness and capturing the finest mountain landscapes through his lens.
