It would have been good if the raw photo was posted. All of these photos are enhanced/edited to a certainly good extend making it difficult for a viewer to understand the optical quality of the lens. It would have been better if the author had posted photos which mention different focal length, a good example for landscape, a good example for a macro, a portrait, a group etc.

I totally agree.. In fact all my shots are taken by a D3100+18-55 VR combo. I would love to contribute a few to showcase the “Standard kit lens” which is mostly under rated by most.

me Also use cit lanes so I get lots of good picture which is very popular more lenses I have but my choice is my cit lanes ….
