The Mood of Silhouette - Winner and Honorable Mentions

Photographer Name : Marko Stamatovic
Title & Description: None

Judges Comments :
I really love the story of this photo. It seems the author just gave only the symbols and let the story be interpreted in audience’s mind. The composition is perfect with the silhouette of the man with an umbrella on the top of left corner in balanced with the “strange white thing” on the bottom of right corner. The angle is quite creative and effective to give this photo a strong sense of mystery.

I really like the dramatic moment of this image. As a photographer who sometimes do street photography, I know it’s not easy to make this kind of candid capture. It needs great timing, strong gesture and good composition. Perfect BW conversion gives this photo a stronger mood.

The Mood of Silhouette - Winner and Honorable Mentions

Photographer Name : Sasikumar Ramachandran
Title & Description : None

Judges Comments :
The moment and composition are the strong element of this photo. I love how the author managed the composition. In this image, the author has made a good decision by waiting for the right moment until 4 silhouettes of the boys perfectly separated. The choosing of color format and good timing in pressing the shutter make the gesture of the silhouettes look dramatic.

Thank you for this honor and opportunity. All the best. Keep shooting.
